One of the brightest entries in the ABC Stage 67 series of original works for television, this two character musical gave Anne Bancroft the opportunity to display the musical talents she would have drawn on if plans to star her in the original production of "Funny Girl" had not taken an unexpected turn. Dick Shawn had previously performed songs by Comden, Green and Styne when he replaced Jack Cassidy in the Broadway run of "Fade Out - Fade In."
